The XL is offered with a 6.2L 2-Valve SOHC EFI NA V8 (Flex-Fuel) Engine or a 6.7L Power Stroke® 4V Diesel V8 (B20) Engine.


If you want a Super Duty with more options and more feature than the XL but don't want it to be to pricey than the f-250 Lariat is the truck your looking for. This is a mid range truck as far as the features it has and its price tag.
